活動内容 / Activities

研究室は平成21年度に開始しました。非常に活気にあふれています。/ The group started in year 2009. We are very, very active.

博士課程学生を中心とした活動 / Activities of the Ph.D course students

現地CERNへの中・長期派遣が行われます。現地でATLAS検出器の運転に携わりながら，収集されたデータを用いた物理解析を行います。 / Ph.D course students stay at CERN for middle-long term. They contribute to the detector operations, and in the same time, they work on the physics data analyses for their theses.

修士課程学生を中心とした活動 / Activities of the master course students

現行のATLAS検出器の運転とその性能評価を主に東工大をベースにして行っています。 またHL-LHCに向けた検出器のアップグレードに関する研究を行っています。/ They base at Tokyo Tech, and contribute to the operations, and the evaluations of the performance of the ATLAS detector. They also work on the Pixel detector upgrade activities for the HL-LHC program.

学部卒業研究生を中心とした活動 / Activities of the B4 students

大学の実験室内で出来るサイズの素粒子小実験も行っています。/ Compact particle physics experiments in the laboratory space are also conducted.

ミーティング / Meetings

陣内研究室の人々はそれぞれ各種様々な(国際，国内)会合に出席しています。週に一度の研究室会合だけが 全員参加型のものです。それ以外は取り組んでいるテーマに応じて各自が必要な会合にでます。/ Throughout the year, JLAB members participate in varieties of international/domestic meetings during the week (depending on their research topics). JLAB weekly is a special meeting where all the members participate.

共同研究 / Collaborative Works

CERNのアトラス実験内の様々なグループ，アトラス日本グループに加盟している国内の実験研究室と共同で様々なプロジェクトに取り組んでいます。 活動場所は東工大がメインですが，高エネ研 (つくば市)や東北大CYRIC，CERN，DESY(ハンブルグ,ドイツ), IBNL(米国) なども訪れます。/ JLAB collaborates with domestic and overseas ATLAS groups to work on various projects. The homeground of our activities is Tokyo Tech, but we often go to CERN and KEK for the collaborative works, meetings. Occasionally we also visit DESY (in Germany), LBNL (in US) and CYRIC (in Tohoku-dai) for a specific topic.
